Based at Charles Bowman Avenue, you will work part time, 16 hours per week which, for service cover, must include a full day Friday.
You will have 60 relevant credit points towards first year of social work degree (one of HNC in Social Care or Social Sciences, K100, K101 or DD100).
You will provide support services and carry a caseload of appropriate cases. You will work alongside and under the direction of a senior or professionally qualified worker to carry out specific tasks.
You will have experience of working with relevant service user groups and an understanding of issues affecting relevant service group.
You will have good oral and written communication skills and planning and organisational skills with a commitment to maintaining high standards of care.
You must be able to work flexibly between 8am and 8pm.
