Renfrewshire Leisure is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our existing team within the Marketing Department. The main purpose of the role is to assist the Marketing Manager and Marketing Officer in all marketing activities which include, but are not limited to, promoting our range of services which include gyms, swimming pools, museums, libraries, arts and sports services. The role will also involve building brand awareness through effective marketing and communications. Together with the planning, design, and implementation of all marketing communications at a local level, you will deliver creative, engaging, and effective marketing campaigns through various marketing channels both online and offline.
Educated to HNC or Degree level, or equivalent, in a Marketing/Communications (or equivalent) discipline, it is essential that you have experience in a service industry in a marketing role. You will have: effective communication, organisational, time management, customer service, ICT, literacy and numeracy skills; the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative, work to deadlines and quality standards.
A flexible approach will be required to suit the needs of the business, including evenings and weekends as required.
