Up to £22,467 depending on qualifications and experience and annual supplement of £3000 depending on qualifications and experience

An exciting opportunity exists within the Estates function at HMP Edinburgh for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical).

You will be part of the team modernising and maintaining the prison estate by carrying out reactive and planned preventative maintenance, installation work and routine and complex electrical repairs.

This is an exciting opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills to gain experience working on industrial/commercial systems. To support you we will invest in your development with opportunities to work towards industry recognised training and qualifications.

The Successful Candidate:
• Obtained a recognised apprenticeship in an Electrical/Electronic discipline and hold a current electrical qualification such as BS7671 or C&G 2382.
