Job Description
Automation Tester required on an initial 3-month contract (Outside IR35) paying 350 – 400 per day.
You will be working for a very specialist organisation who utilise data and AI to offer their customers efficiencies and ultimately lower costs, so this is a chance to work for a niche organisation and should provide some very interesting work. It’s a busy time to join as they have been re-shaping their strategy and have identified that their testing process could be a lot slicker, so really need someone with the expertise to drive it forward and make their recommendations about how best to proceed.
Their main goal is to devise and implement automated tests for their in-house software product with the idea that this capability should be repeatable, fully automated and provide significant coverage. As a result, they require someone with previous experience setting up automation test frameworks from scratch.
Initially, the contract will be 3 months with potential for extension beyond this. The role will be office-based; however, they will likely allow the right person to WFH on a Friday.
Responsibilities:
Writing script for database restoration.
Developing an automation project with Selenium in C#
Automating tests for deployment triggers
Illustrate achievements and scope through practical executions and supporting documentation
Key skills:
MSSQL
Ability to write test scripts in SQL
Selenium WebDriver with C#
Experience working with image comparison techniques
Azure DevOps pipeline
The interview process for this one is 2 stages – 1 30min online call and then the other face-to-face. They are looking for someone to start IMMEDIATELY and will be paying between 350 – 400 per day.
