Administration Jobs

Administration jobs in Scotland. Over the last decade there has been a huge surge in the number of administration jobs in Scotland. This is partly because nearly every modern business requires some degree of organisation and management in order to succeed.

Administration roles include positions such as clerical assistants, account administrators and receptionists. Many companies are also keen to take on trainees and junior members of staff – training them up in their specific in-house systems from the very start.

If you are interested in working in administration you will have to have excellent computer and organisation skills. Daily tasks could include working with spreadsheets, arranging office meetings, taking minutes and answering the company phone. Some administrators carry out more physical office tasks too such as photocopying, mailing and filing.
